Create Lithgow – Workshops for Young Changemakers

Create Lithgow is a creative development project for young people who want to work together and make things happen in the creative industries. A hand on the job, fun journey, where you will be discussing your projects and improving your creative skills alongside with our most talented mentors and local professionals working in the industry.

If you are between 12 or just about to turn 25 years old, Lithgow City Council invites you to develop the skills to run your own show and make positive change in our community. With the Create Lithgow, Young Changemakers program you will develop skills in event management, media and communications, self-publishing, contracts, sound mixing, recording and various other aspects of the creative industry. At the end of the series of workshops, you will have a certificate of competency and a recommendation directly from your mentors.
