Lithgow Oberon Landcare Farmers Creek Planting Day

We are excited to share that Lithgow Oberon Landcare has been awarded a grant from the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife @fnpwaustralia.
The purpose is to provide funds to support restoration activities in the Local Government Areas (LGA’s) listed as impacted by the 2019-2020 bushfires.
The grant will be used to help revegetate Farmers creek through the planting of tree tube stock.
This project will have a positive impact on Gang Gang Cockatoos by planting trees along their flight paths and between their burnt habitat refuges.
As part of this project, we will be hosting planting days along Farmers Creek.
The Bushfire Restoration Grant is managed by the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife with funding from @GlobalGiving.
