After the Fires, Beyond the Waters, Thriving Future

After fires, floods, COVID… it is now our great challenge to face whatever is next with resilience and good planning. What does a thriving and livable future look like for Lithgow, and how do we get there?
Building on the New Economy Symposium discussions held last year and continuing on from our housing and planning workshops in 2023 which complement the Lithgow Emerging Economy Plan (LEEP), we are pleased to invite you to our next exciting event, Terrestrial Politics in Uncertain Times.
We extend a warm invitation to join us at the Lithgow Transformation Hub on 25 October for a morning panel session on regional futures, followed by an afternoon workshop – Lithgow Regional Futures – Workshopping Transition. In the interests of building a thriving future for our region, we’d love you to join us at one or both of the sessions.
This is Day One of a three-day event run by the Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University, with leading scholars, practitioners, artists, and community.
